📊 @TrendsCenterApp: With Max Meyer starting at home, the Marlins have gone a perfect 9-0 (+9.0u) this season!

🔥 POTD: Marlins ML vs. Mariners (-116, @FDSportsbook)

Heading into this season, Max Meyer earned the fifth starting spot in Miami's rotation. At this point, he hasn't only emerged as their ace, but he earned his way to the All-Star Game.

Sporting a 9-1 record and 2.53 ERA, Miami has gone 13-5 in his 18 starts compared to 36-37 in all other games. Not only that, but the Marlins have gone 9-0 at home in his starts and 17-17 in all other home contests.

As you can see by his Baseball Savant profile above, he ranks in the 86th percentile in Pitching Run Value and the 100th percentile in Breaking Run Value. His strikeout, chase and whiff rates are also very strong. While he has struggled slightly in the hard hit category, I'm not worried about a Mariners lineup that ranks in the bottom half in most categories against right-handed pitching and on the road. '

Both of these bullpens rank in the top 10 in terms of ERA and have performed well all season, but with Meyer on the hill and backed by a 28-17 home record on the year (which ranks among the best in the Majors), I'm firmly on the Fish against Seattle, who have gone 20-24 on the road.
