🏆 Knicks -115 vs. Spurs (Game 3)

📊 TrendsCenter: Since going down 2-1 to the Hawks in the first round, the Knicks have rattled off 13 straight wins.

The NBA Playoffs are all about adjustments. Winning teams make them and losing teams don't. The issue for the Spurs is that they've been not only out-played in the first two games of this series, but also out-physicaled (if I can make up that word). Wemby has looked all out of sorts due to New York's grown-man physicality and with what should be an absolutely wild crowd at Madison Square Garden, there's no way I'm going to fade the Knicks in this game. Something clicked in that first series against Atlanta and they haven't looked back since.

Phillies ML at Blue Jays (-182, FanDuel)

📊 TrendsCenter: With Cristopher Sanchez starting since 8/28/2024, the Phillies have gone 38-15 on the moneyline.

Happy Patrick Corbin (2-2, 3.98) Day! We're going to back the Phillies (35-30) in this spot because Christopher Sanchez (7-2, 1.46) is on the mound, though. While Sanchez’s wild scoreless innings streak came to a close last time out, he’s now allowed one earned run total in his last six starts, spanning 46 innings. The Blue Jays (32-34) are an impatient hitting team and should play right into his strengths. I don’t love the price obviously, but Sanchez has been automatic this season and is a frontrunner to win the NL Cy Young award. This is a great parlay leg option today.

Reds ML at Padres (+122, Kalshi)

📊 TrendsCenter: With Andrew Abbott starting as an underdog against opponents with win percentages over 50% the last two seasons, the Reds have gone 19-7 on the moneyline with a 60.42% ROI.

I’m absolutely tailing this trend. The Padres (33-31) are on my personal do-not-bet list and have been miserable against lefties this season. Abbott (4-3, 4.06) hasn’t allowed over three earned runs in a start since April 24 and the Padres have scored the 2nd fewest runs per game at home this season, 3.37. San Diego have the 3rd lowest average, worst on base percentage, 4th worst slugging percentage, and worst OPS against left-handed pitching. The Reds (31-33) offense has been hard to trust with Elly De La Cruz out, but I’m not going to discount how bad the Padres have been.
